Statement on paintings
These painting are autobiographical narratives that evoke personal feelings of nostalgia, depicting portraits of romanticized American adolescents. They are also precarious paintings that flirt on edge of time, what events precede their narratives is the end of their moments. Existing out of time, their condition enables them to be the entity of a feeling, when viewed beyond the duration of the narrative, depicting a brief moment of joy, Apart from girls in cars I'm inspired by paintings that I live around, after time I rarely give them my direct attention, but I still experience them in my surroundings and eventually they effect they way I view things in life, I want my paintings to acquire this ability to give beyond there viewing.
